AMALID Presents: The First Jalaluddin Rumi Online Arabic Translation of Some of His Most Beautiful Poems This is the first online Arabic translation of some of Jalaluddin Rumi's most beautiful poems. Their vision is Eternal and the World, in its present state of turmoil and East-West conflict, is badly in need of them. In Lebanon, politicians often speak of National Reconciliation, but no one has a vision of how that reconciliation is to be brought about. It is my belief that the Vision of Rumi is the epitome of inter-religious reconciliation. Rumi lived about 700 years ago, but he has become a cultural phenomenon in the USA with the likes of Madonna and Deepak Chopra reading his poems and republishing them for spiritual healing. Rumi said "All Religions Are One Praise"... These translations are part of a book that I am writing in Arabic titled "The Other Cheek of Islam". Mind you, Rumi wrote these poems in the 13th century AD at a time when the Crusaders where attacking from the West and the Mongol armies where mauling down everything in their march West. It saddened me to realize that very few people have heard of Rumi in the Middle East. This is why I have undertaken this enterprise. Read and be transformed.
