Title: "The Loss of Innocence"

Comments (by Rami E. Cremesti):

At the Century Club in L.A., Saturday night, June 8, 2002, I obtained a press pass and photographed the night-life from 10-2:0 A.M.

Earlier that night, the atmosphere was fake, people were still tense; they were not in the groove. But as the night advanced, I saw a full spectrum of human existentialist emotions etched on the faces of the clubbers... From uneasiness, to vain pride, lack of confidence, to loneliness, sadness, emptiness, happiness, desolation, covetessness, playfullness, seduction, drunkenness...

A young girl poised against the wall, with an uneasy look on her face, rose in one hand, alcohol in the other, separated from the man standing next to her, who is gazing far away, into emptiness.. In her face, I saw a look that made me shudder... The loss of innocence...
